Sohaila Abhar Arash has a master’s degree in business administration from the University of People of California, USA. She has more than 20 years’ experience with various organizations in areas such as project management, coordination, monitoring and reporting, human resources, leadership, communication with the stakeholders, and coordination of the training programs.
She worked as a Training & Education Officer with the United Nations Development Program in Afghanistan until 31 December 2021 which was her last job in Afghanistan. She was a coordinating the trainings and capacity development programs for the Afghan female police.
She arrived in the UK in January 2022 and was voluntarily teaching English to the Afghan women refugees in the Holiday Inn, Northampton for more than one year. She started working for the Bright Path Futures project in May 2023 and till now, she has been teaching the Practice Your English workbook to the Afghan ladies online. In the meantime, she paid visits to some of the hotels where the Afghan families lived there and informed them of the online classes and distributed the Dari and Pashtu translated workbooks to them.
